Quran Reading - Quranservicesonline

The world and its harsh comments hurt and break you, and you come exhausted towards the Quran, you open it randomly, or continue your study of it, or recite it, anything, Rabbi, anything, hoping to find some healing and soothing.
There comes a time when any or all ayat provide shifa to the tightness of the chest.
This beautiful ayah, in which Allah says, “Read! in the name of your Rabb, the one who created”
It is enough to soothe. It is enough to remember that Allah is our Rabb. and who is al Rabb?
Al Maalik
Al Mun’im
Al Murabbi
As Sayyid
Al Qayyim
The Owner and Authority, the Giver of gifts, The Caretaker, The One in charge, The Maintainer.
Forget what they say, these harsh people who live in their own little worlds, and who always find things in you to critisise.
Forget these people who judge you, belittle you, who assume a false authority over you.
Who are they? No one. Absolutely NO ONE.
They do not own you, neither they have any authority. They do you no favors, even though they are deluded into thinking they do. They do not pay your bills, they are not in charge.
Allah gives a reality check, that it is He who does all this, and this in itself, is incredibly soothing, when internalized correctly, and pondered over.
I have a Rabb! What have I to fear from these harsh people?
I am completely surrounded by His care, His authority, He is responsible for my well being, He owns me, He made me, I belong to Him, He is my own, my home, no one other than Him has a right to judge me.
I will be alright, as Allah is my Rabb, I am His slave, I live to please Him alone. There is more important work to be done, I have orders to follow, and He has told me to read!
